Sunny Easter Saturday ‘storing ship’ and making final preparations ‘for sea’!
Little Scarlet jam ready!
I have no idea why yacht Little Scarlet was given the name (her ‘ship’s papers’ show she was originally called King’s Ransom) however, maybe a previous owner was a James Bond fan as Tiptree Little Scarlet gets a mention in Ian Fleming’s From Russia, With Love (1957) within a description of Bond’s breakfast habits. We might be enjoying the jam for both breakfast and teas – standby for an update!
